Blend pot value for Active Jazz Bass set

I have the Active Jazz Bass set. I was just about to pop in a 25k blend pot (I assumed it was right for actives) when I noticed that the pots that came with the set are marked 100k. If I want a blend pot can I:

1) Use the 25k pot with the 100k pots
2) Use all 25k pots
3) Try to hunt down a 100k blend pot
4) Just deal with separate volume controls

(I'd actually prefer #2 for a wider choice of knobs!)

Thanks!

Usually it is 100k. I hadn't ever used any other, so I don't know the affect of a 25k one.

All of my EMG guitars have 25k pots, FWIW. I would just experiment but since there's actual electricity involved I'm thinking asking is better.

Well, it isn't like you will start a fire haha. The wiring diagrams for the blend say 100k. I think 25k would change the ratio/taper of the blend.

Even with active pickups and EQ, for J Bass style pickup pairs, I prefer individual volume pots per pickup. With these, each pickup can contribute its maximum output at any time.

With a dual ganged balance pot, each pickup can only contribute its maximum output at the extremes of the pot travel. This affects how the sweet spot spot "honk" sounds.

My favorite on J basses are individual volumes as well.
