i used to do that with an ME-5 and my jcm 900.
Lots of sounds, but tone suck central.

the effects loop is some crazy shizzle left over from the 1980s spandex hair metal RACK era...

I rarely see anyone that uses dirt pedals also using the amp effects loop

also, I would never want to get my dirt pedal tones out of digital pedalz...
