Blues Junior Version Differences (III vs. IV)

I had a v1 back in the late 90s/early 2000s.

It was ok. I remember a whole Lotta blah. No bass, harsh treble, bland mids.

The new ones are decent sounding.

Did the build quality get any better?

Mine had tube socket connection issues and the plastic boards mounted jack that cut out unless you routed your cord thru the handle first.

my old greenboard didnt have any issues, but i did mod it after a while, and swapped the speaker to an old g12m shortly after i got it. the jack issue is the most common thing ive seen, not sure if they changed that on the new models

I had a ver I back in 1997. It was decent. This one is leaps and bounds better. My main amp is a Ver IV Hot Rod Deluxe. This one sounds great. Here is the caveat. The new Blues Junior and Hot Rod Deluxe weigh the same. The Hot Rod Deluxe has a pine cabinet.
