Blues trembucker and P-Rails combo?

I've got a PATB3 to put in a new guitar build (maple top, alder body, maple bolt-on) and would like to put a P-Rails in the neck but am worried about the output in humbucker mode. PRails is 2-3K hotter and would have the increased output from the neck position.

Has anyone got a similar arrangement and how have they got on?

Cheers

Re: Blues trembucker and P-Rails combo?

Hi, welcome to the Forum.

I have a PATB-3 but never played a P-Rail. To my best estimates i would you dont run into problems with the P90 setting. This is the most popular. You wont get a problem with the parallel option, this seem to be the second popular. Coming to the humbucker i would say you never will be able to get those single coil / parallel things going and also the humbucker at the same configuration. So what ...
Give it a try!

Welcome to the forum.

Actually I'm thinking about that combo too coz it seems very interesting. So give it a try and give us review.

Re: Blues trembucker and P-Rails combo?

thank you guys.

I haven't finished building the guitar yet but found a wiring diagram for 2HB series/parallel options with a super switch which I think will do nicely with the PATB1N I already have or the P-Rails in the neck.

Might take me until after the holidays but I'll be back ; )
