Well, first of all i don't particulary enjoy your guitar tone. Second, your playing is just a bit "dull" and "standard", nothing more than just the old blues scalas! You have nice feeling though! :)

You wanted me to critizise, so here you go! :D

Ok, all good feedback, you can't improve unless you know what you're doing wrong!

I kinda agree too... and it's probably because I only know the ONE SCALE POSITION :smack:

Someone reviewed it elsewhere and gave it a 10/10 :saeek:

Meh, I don't know

Re: BlUES!!??

Its really not bad, it would work just fine for an oldie you know like maybe Howlin Wolf or B.B. King style, but as Mr. Erlend said, but the tone sounds kind of rockish not made for blues(like alot of gain?), you couldn't go too far from the just sort of plain blues, buts its some good playing for that sort of thing, maybe some different places to play like using some target notes would help.

Re: BlUES!!??

It does have a rock feel to it, but I like it. But that improvisation is what I prefer with blues. Nothing polished, just playin what you feel. And you may have been in more of a "rock" mood that day. I don't know if I'd change anything. What are you shooting for on this?

Re: BlUES!!??

Well I really shouldn't have called it just blues because it wasn't even supposed to be. The clean parts at the start and the end were supposed to be blues (I was kind of going for a BB King/Claptonish feel), but the middle distorted part was meant to be classic-rockish.

It's just music, and I don't see the point in placing it in a particular genre.

Re: BlUES!!??

I don't like the tone of your guitar and the quality it's quite bad. Otherwise your general feeling it's great, it may be "standard" ;) but personaly I don't get pretty easely there. Playing that slow and make it interesting it's a hard thing to do.
