Re: Bogner Alchemist?
The Alchemist is built and supported by Line6.....just call Bogner and ask them for warranty work on an Alchemist.
ok, so yes, because it is made in china where the "meh" sounding spider valve came from, it has to be crap man...that and its on the internet, so of course its fact! if you didn't pay 4000 for it, it can't be a good amp! (personally, having a ton of vintage fenders and marshalls, i find myself playing my 112 Alchemist all the time, and one need only look inside to see the VALUE in this amp!! - look at the gut pic posted previously, and you will see what i mean. Nothing but quality parts, heck Sprague, Mallory, Wima etc, the same parts in any boutique amp on the market, just not "hand wired" by a genius of electronics....hmm....and its reliable as get out, as ive seen them, while working at Guitar Center when they first came out oh so long ago, take falls like no other amp...seriously, just set it up right, cross fingers, and bam TONEVILLE is still there! jmho) NOT SAYING that 4000 dollar amps don't sound incredible!! i love em!! the boutique amp market just needs a kick in the rear every once in a while, for example with this amp the Alchemist, to show that there really isn't a magic secret to tone, just quality. And so will (im sure) begin the slaughter of "quality" comments after mine because it is Chinese made...lol...if you are on the fence, go try one out! heck, try out all of them, you might just be surprised is all!
