they did do a limited run of "reissue" fish preamps but I am pretty sure thry all sold out in the presale...

I didn't even know know they were doing a re-issue. I still get a kick out of seeing an original show up on the bay with some comment about "this is number so and so" and "once owned by this famous guy".

Might be funny, but it's sadly true as well. Not many of the original run of fish preamps made it into the general public's hands. I know at one time Jerry Cantrell had 10 of the original 200 that were made. 4 in his touring rig, 4 as a back up and, IIRC, 2 at his home studio. As far I know, I don't think he sold any of them. He's said in many interviews he keeps darn near everything he buys.
