I saw one of my favourite guitarists on the weekend and in his set up he has a JCM 800 stack, and a few Boss pedals... a Strat with Humbuckers, and a few EB's..... His 800's are 50 watters i think and he uses a stock Blues Driver for solos... On his board is a Boss Compressor too.. But when he kicks on the Blues Driver it boosts the volume pretty good, unless the sound guy is doing it. Either way the Blues Driver seems to sound great in front of his 800's..
