Bought me a Peavey Predator

Bought a new Predator. Floyd-rose (licensed). Two hums. 22 fret. Bla bla bla. Well, its pretty nice and it plays fast. Has a strat kinda neck on it, maybe a little thinner. The trem feels good, but kinda light. It's no OFR. The pickups are going to need replacement soon. Sounded a little better when i raised em. Lowered the action quite a bit and it was already low. This is the first floyd guitar i've owned, but after a pickup swap it'll be awesome!. Great quality. Perfect Metallic Blue finish. Was going to get black but this was the highest quality Predator of the other guitars in the shop. Good sustain, fretwork, neck. Overall good buy.

The Floyd is most likely a Gotoh/Schaller, no need to change that one for anything else.
Those guitars are usually quite nice and sounds really good with some different pickups.

Yes, i'm amazed at the quality! For a guitar in any price range this is good.

Welcome to the club. I love mine, although, its the older 23-fret version, with a Kahler. Still, they're great guitars.

The blue looks so muck better in real life. It changes to different shades of blue in different light.
