It's a been a little more than a week since I got mine and I gotta tell you, I love it. It plays so well and feels great. I'm not changing a thing on it. If anything, the nut slots could be fine tunes a little but that's easy. It's just plain out a great guitar.

OK, what a SWEET guitar! I feel like I play better playing compared to my Strats; still need to get used to humbuckers and really am considering an RS kit but it is so nice to smile the entire time I am playing!

Told ya...LOL.

Open the control cavity and take a peak. You will find very good components in there. Alpha pots, what looks to be a Switchcraft switch, and the neatest wiring I've ever seen in a guitar made overseas. Way way better than the Epiphone I used to have and even better than my American Fender Strat was stock.

Yesterday, this baby got its first workout in the band setting at rehearsal. All I gotta say is, wow. Just wonderful. I'm really glad I picked this up. It'll see some heavy use at next weekend's gigs.

I got this SE Korina too in mid january and absolutely love it.

i have one question though? is your tone pot a push pull pot for single coil tone(coil taps)?
as mine ain't. according to this video this does have a push pull : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=szTMe0R1Fow
so can somebody confirm.

i might upgrade to other pups soon but that i'll leave for another discussion/thread.

Mine does not have a push/pull tone pot. He or somebody must have installed one. It's not even a stock spec item.

i guess someone modded that korina quite a bit, as the stock pickups don't even have wiring for a coil tap.

now wondering what is a good pickup combination for this, not that i am gonna mod this very soon, but few months down the line... u never know.

If I ever decide on changing them out of mine, a set of Pearly Gates are my first choice. But honestly, I see no reason to at all. The stock pickups sound great to me.
