Brand new original !! Sparkle Motion

Got a new tune mixed featuring my lovely and ugly as hell 72 Carlsbro. Cranked it with my 62 RI Strat and my old A2 59 Duncan. I call the track Sparkle Motion. As always Rikki Davenport is killing the drums on it. Beats em like he was their Mammy. I would quit guitar if I could play drums like that! I am getting very close to done with my CD, all the tracking is done. Just a few more to mix and get some artwork done. It takes a few seconds for it to start, have to back and re-edit that.

Jason Keillor is the mix master on this stuff. I want it live and open and he turns the knobs til he gets it there. He has a great ear and makes it real easy for me to lay down tracks. We use lots of room mics on the drums and it makes such an amazing difference. This tune was done very quickly and I think it gives it a real nice energy, glad you pick up on it!

I always appreciate your ears, I think we dig lots of the same things sonically.

Strange Sound, thanks a bunch. I hope for the disk to be fully mixed soon. A guy doing artwork who assured me all was on schedule just told me he can't do it any more. This is after months of assuring me all was gonna be cool, really bummed as he is a hell of a talent. So I am kinda at point one again with that. I will figure it out.... I will keep all posted.

Niether amp, it is a 1972 Carlsbro TR60, same OT,PT and choke as any vintage Plexi but a tweaked voice that gives it a creamy note response. I call it a Plexi with cream and sugar.
