Bridge Humbucker that still looks exactly like a single coil?

What is the best sounding bridge pick up for a strat that looks exactly like a single coil? I’d like to maintain the look of my strat intact, but would like a pick up that is higher output than the stock in the bridge as I don’t really care for that sound. Not looking for “rail” pick ups either or the lil 59’s (and look alikes). How are the Virtual Solo from Di Marzio or the Hot Stack Plus from Seymour Duncan? Want a thicker and hotter distortion sound from the bridge.

The Hot Stack Plus is the one I'd recommend, but it doesn't sound like a humbucker at all (though it cancels hum). It does sound like a hot thick single coil, which I think is what you are after.

if you want it to look like a single coil, then the hot stack plus is a good choice. i have one in the bridge of a strat and it sounds great. fat and has good output, not thin or overly bright

Would a Quarter Pound Strat meet your aesthetic standards?

they arent a humbucker and have oversized pole pieces, they dont really sound like a humbucker but they have strong output and great rock sound. big bottom and not overly bright. great pups

Yeah, they sound closer to a P90 than a humbucker, but short of a BG1400 (which is a Custom Shop Tele pickup wound to sound like a PAF), you don't have too many options.

A BG1400 doesn't sound like a humbucker to me, either. I mean, it is hard to get that sound with the parameters you need- the shape and orientation of the dual coils really is the sound.
