bridge pup for Dean ML??

I can generally decide what pup my babies need to bring out the most, but Im having a hard time with my new Dean. The stockers are ok, but lack alil clarity under gain.
The guitar is very middy naturally, so I dont want to add mids. I want it to sing. Looking for a soloing type of pup. JB?

JB or Custom Custom would be nice. A triple set of Double creams would look Fantastic in there.

If you don't want to add mids the JB is out, I know I am going against the grain here but I find it very compressed and flat response/boxy sounding in mahogany set neck guitars. I always hear people rave about th e JB in a LP and I don't get it, I feel the same way about the Custom Custom in a LP so maybe the mid voicing is not for me.

I'm with ya' on the JB in a Gibby. I don't care for it at all. It seems like the JB covers up too much of a LP's natural voicing.

I really like the Demon, Custom, and the Super Distortion in a Gibson style axe for a higher output, solo-friendly tone.

Thanks for the compliments all! Its a limited run ML. had it on order since August and it just got done. It plays amazing! neck is fast and the guitar is suprisingly light.

Yeah, I had thought about the 500xl when I ordered the guitar. It has slipped my mind. Thanks!!
Im sure out on what to put in it.
Think double creams would look good?? I was wonderining if I could do away with the covers and not mess up the looks..

Well, I due to low finances, I couldnt purchase a pup, so I tried what I had on hand..
First was a 500T. for some reason the pup is dead.. :cussing:

Hmm, what to use now?? I pulled a BBQ out of one of my LPs. Holy smokes!! Thats IT!!!
Sounds amazing!!

Now gotta figure what to put in the mid and neck..

BBQ bridge...Genuine Texas mid/neck? It's a good 2 pickup combo...
