Bridge to match a Phat Cat in the neck spot on my tele?

I just barely got a Phat Cat P90 for the neck spot in my MIA Tele. I can't say enough about how much I love that pickup and its raw, scratchy tone.

Problem is, it's _way_ louder than the bridge pickup, even set as low as I can get it in the body. So now I'm looking for a way to balance the sound.

A friend suggested soldering in a light resistor to quiet down the Phat Cat, but I'm not sure I want to do that (even if it's possible).

I love the bright, jangly tele twang of the bridge pickup and I don't want to lose that. I've looked (listened, more so) at the various single-coil tele Seymour Duncan pickups, and so far I'm liking the tone and sound of the Donahue and the Alnico II Pro. The Quarter Pounder is way darker than I'm looking for, and the Hot Lead is even too dark (I think). But I'm not sure about the volume and output of the Donahue or Pro.

Any advice? Thoughts?
