Brighter neck match for AHB-1 Blackouts bridge (active)

I bought a used Schecter C1 locally, just to see if the guitar type would work for me. I thought I would replace the Blackouts with passive pickups quickly, based on my experience with EMG pickups in a previously owned LTD Eclipse. It turns out though, after playing through the bridge pickup and backing it off from the strings a bit, that I absolutely love it! I play in a post metal band and tune to dropped B. The AHB-1b sounds fat, crunchy, but still very clear and defined through gain and with lots of sustain. The sound of the bridge pickup works perfectly for my band.

I don't like the neck pickup though. It sounds too dark. Since my Schecter has a shared tone control for both pickups it is very difficult to find settings that work well for both pickups, so I would like to try a different neck pickup that sounds brighter than the AHB-1n. I'm thinking about trying a AHB-3 Mick Thomson neck pickups or maybe even an EMG 60. What do you guys think would work best?

The EMTY will be perfect for what you want.
