I've got a dark sounding guitar, and I want to try some very bright strings on it. I was gonna go get some EB Cobalts, but before I do, I would like to hear some other suggestions.
Believe me, if they were as rust resistant as they claim to be, especially after all this time running the Elixirs, I'd be paying $20 a set for them. It was like there was a blanket over my amp that they tore through with a spear.

D'Addario ProSteels stainless steel strings. They don't eat up frets either. I e-mailed the company once and a rep said they didn't and plus I've played those strings more than once. They have a textured feel that can feel rough at first, but you can get used to it. You may even like it. ProSteels are D'Addario's brightest strings.
