Budda Twinmaster

I was bored earlier, and was going through all the settings on my modeler that I don't typically use. One was labeled "Custom Class A", and I couldn't recall ever using it. After playing for a few minutes, and absolutely loving it, I found out it's based on the Budda Twinmaster.

Is this an amp I should've known about long ago?

i've got one. i gotta tell you its an amazing amp, sort of a cross between an AC-15 and an 18watt marshall. theres no master volume, so if you want any OD from the amp without using a pedal, its gotta be LOUD. don't let the 18watts fool you. it is almost every bit as loud as the 50 watt mesa rectoverb i used to have. i used to gig with it occasionally and would use the clean channel and hit it with a Crowther Hotcake, and it was a killer tone. I'm giggin out with my BadCat more now since it has a master volume, but for some flat out balls to the walls fun, crank up the twinmaster and put in some earplugs.

i dont know the current prices, but i picked my twinmaster head up about a little more than a year ago for $800, in perfect condition.

Looks like there's a head on ebay for $999 right now, but you might be able to find one cheaper elsewhere.

budda has some amazing offerings. a guy that used to play the blues club I work at had a very very early 2x12 18 watt amp, and it was AWESOME..used to make me want one real bad, til I saw the price tag. Also, I know it's a little shallow, but I hate their knobs, lol

All clips I've seen of them give me amazing GAS. Amazgasmic, almost.

jb you may want to look into a stringmaster. i think these were a master volume 30 watt version of the twinmaster. also discontinued and most people havent realized budda makes amazing amps so they shouldnt be that expensive

edit: nevermind they are completely different but the stringmaster does have a built in attenuater.
