Building a John Frusciante Strat

Hey guys,

Plz recommend some pups to get a cool John Frusciante sound. I'll be using my Am Fender Deluxe Strat thru my Marshall.

Overall, the strat is pretty warm sounding.

pretty sure thats what he said. he even took his old vintage 60's strat pups out and replaced them with ssl1's

In fact one of his Vintage Strats he thought was Fender pickups ended up being SSL-1's.
