I have a friend who uses magnets to keep his truss rod covers on too. Magnets are awesome for covers!

Well guys, spent some time today sanding and shaping the neck heel, I didn't want to take too much off just wanted a nice transition

Did a dark grain fill and started sanding, gonna finish sanding tomorrow then start stain

That dark grain fill is a good idea. The grain pattern really pops. Looking forward to the finish coats.

I'm thinking of doing the neck through part in trans black and the rest in trans blue and with the dark grain and black hardware I think it should look good

Ok guys I need help, I stained the guitar but I lost all the grain filler I did.....what should I do now? Should I seal it then grain fill again? Or grain fill again and order the stew macs color lacquer? I'm stuck.....

Well I got a damp cloth and started rubbing some of the color off then I grain filled again , I think the cloth I used to stain was too rough and just took the filler out so I will pay closer attention next round.....

BOOM!!!!!!! Got it stained and now I'm happy with it. Gonna let it sit over night and start the sanding sealer lacquer
