Bunch of new axes built

Re: Bunch of new axes built

Oh - but Gold P90 covers aren't Pimp-dilly-icious!?!?!?!? :lmao:

. . . let's not go there :D ;) (I wanted to evoke a black beauty kinda vibe, with gold pickup covers and hardware, the block inlay; I always found a black beauty with gold knobs tacky).

Re: Bunch of new axes built

You are the guitar maker. I just suggest stuff.

I mean, I don't understand what you were saying :P

Maybe if it was a fretted neck, and not a separate fingerboard.

don't you need a fingerboard first before you can fret it? Or did you mean a neck out of 3 pieces with the fretboard being integral, like Fender's old school original 1 piece necks (i..e without a separate fretboard). In that case, nah. I tried that once but failed miserably at the 1 piece construction so I decided to never ever do it again.

Oh I mean like Fender's original idea of a 1 piece neck (like my Fender, actually). Just shape the neck with all those pieces of wood, and throw frets on it. The stripes in the front would look pretty cool.
