Butnut, may I have your attention

Re: Butnut, may I have your attention

Butnut suggests you simply wrap the damaged guitar body in lime-green vinyl.

Re: Butnut, may I have your attention

haha...you guys. Most paint suppliers will not sell small quantities. Small flakes can be 'pearls' or micro-flakes known more as metallics, not metalflake (semi school 'glitter' sized). I have a bunch of flakes and pearls, what color you looking for? Post a pic if you can too...

Re: Butnut, may I have your attention

I guess what I'm looking for are "micro-flakes". The finish is on an old Peavey bass and the option is "Black Pearl". It's a black metal flake, and the only way I've been able to ever get good results doing finish repairs on poly is using epoxy, so I need something to add to it so I can match things up.

Re: Butnut, may I have your attention

That's probably a single stage metallic color, tough to match. If a true pearl, it will be pearl dust mixed with clear shot over black. Got a pic?
