Re: buy trent reznor's gear

Wow, quite a few of them have already been bid over their actual value.

Re: buy trent reznor's gear

Stupid move listing so much at one time. Spreads out the fanbase and lowers the prices.

Re: buy trent reznor's gear

I fix that broken headstock les paul classic and rock it til it dies or til I die.

but at $900+ already it will go for more than non broken classic goes for I bet.

Re: buy trent reznor's gear

i'm very surprised ALL the guitars have not been broken in some fashion. if you have ever seen this band live they absolutley destroy the stage, their instruments, and sometimes each other.

Re: buy trent reznor's gear

two thoughts...

one. how cool would it be to own trent's green prs?

two. check out the pedals that account has been buying. some cool stuff there.

Re: buy trent reznor's gear

Kinda cool, but some of this stuff doesn't seem worth it. The guitars actually are probably not worth that much except maybe the PRS. The 2 godin guitars and the 80's Explorer are also probably worth some money. I seriously doubt that the A6 is worth more than 8 or $900 though.

I never got into them. I tried to listen to Downward Spiral because it was such a popular record but I just never got them. To each their own I guess.

Re: buy trent reznor's gear

I love NIN. If I was more into collecting and less into playing, and had some spare dough, I'd be all over that.

Re: buy trent reznor's gear

Interesting...

Just out of curiosity, is there any Proof whatsoever that these were ever actually trent´s or a NIN member´s instruments?? No autographs, noc "certificate of ownage", no apparent affiliation other than the seller says it´s so....

If i´m gonna buy an artist´s "ex instrument" at a premium (which is apparently teh case here, then at least a miniscule shred of evidence would be nice...

I´m now seriously considering selling all of my future guitars as "formerly owned by suchandsuch, but I have no proof other than my word...." I mean, if I can get 700 bucks for a Jackson performer that cost 300 new in 96 and was just barely above the bottom of the line, and 1300 for an Import rhoads, can you imagine what a USA would be worth?? Sell one axe, buy a house :eek13:

Just makes me curious because with 4 days to go more than half of the guitars are already bid to around double their actual worth...

Methinks the charade wouldnt go on for very long, though. If it was all a scam, as soon as Trent caught wind of it he'd come down like all hells fookin fury.

As for letting them all go at the same time, perhaps it's an intentional means of keeping the prices relatively low...so not only the collectors with big bucks get 'em, but some of the fans as well.

Considering this is a guy that released his last album for free...makes sense in my mind ;).
