Here's some advice on Vipers... try it with a strap before you buy it. I don't know about the mahogany ones, but the basswood ones are neck heavy. Aside from that, it's a kickass guitar. I actually like the body shape more than an SG.

My friend has the lower end viper and I tried it and it is neck heavey, but I dont mind it that much. I'll probably just get a leather strap for it.

because there are 3 music stores (guitar center, victors house of music, and sam ash) within 5 mintues of each other in paramus. i know that victors has esp/ltd guitars and im pretty sure that they other 2 do as well...


also, there is a local shop near where i live (2 actually) that have esp/ltd guitars....

If you can get out to Long Island I know Gallo Guitars carries them and he usually has quite a few Vipers in stock. Not my fav store by any means but he usually has a nice selection of guitars. It is Exit 62 off the LIE and just a quick shot north.

its nice in britain - if you can't find it in your local shop, denmark street in london *will* have it. its a few miles of nothing but guitar shops.. bought many a hard-to-find part down there, you can pick up anything - pre-CBS teles to protools rigs, dunlop fretwire to plexi marshalls

The quality control is pretty damn good on ESPs, you'd be fine ordering one.

I think I am just going to take a run over to the local samash on 48th st. and have them special order it. Because i'll then be able to play it and check it out before I buy it.
