What is it supposed to do? I know someone on this forum got one and installed it on their guitar.....

Read the fine print. The Korg is a fine tuner but the {eterson uses a compensated tuning to help keep the 3rd and 6th's from sounding so out in chords. The Feiten system makes a difference. You really hear when double tracking parts. The sound is much tighter.
