No one notice a job done right
but they all will talk about the one you fkd up
We have grown to expect good if not great
It has become the standard
Americans had become accustomed to taking their cars back to the dealership for the first 2 years
to remove the lost bolts in the oil pan
And other shoddy manufacturer defects
The Japanese didnt offer a warranty because they didn't have those
In the 70s the big three tried the keep those cars off the American shore .
We now expect to have a car that runs perfectly the first 5 or so years. At least until the payment is done
Reminds me of an old high school applied science teacher who when he got to the car segment started with...
"They don't make 'em like they used to?!...No, they make them better!"
