I am experiencing buzzing all on my low e string, even open e so what do I do to fix it? the saddle is as far back as possible... and I have moved it in different positions and that isn't the problem since no matter where I move it, still buzz and I raised the action a bit but that didn't do anything either... what do I do?

Re: buzzing on Low E Ibanez Edge Trem

The string height is governed at both ends. If raising the bridge saddle is not eliminating the buzz, you may need to shim the string clamp/nut assembly. If this does not solve the problem, you probably have a high fret or the truss rod wants slackening very slightly.

How old are your strings? You could have a break in the wrap.

Sometime's a "bit" isn't quite enough. Make sure your relief is around 0.3-0.5mm and your action at the twelfth fret around 1.5-2.0mm

How can I check relief? And my strings are fairly new...

Re: buzzing on Low E Ibanez Edge Trem

Well, you fret the string at the first fret and the 19th, then you measure the distance between the top of the 8th fret to the bottom of the string.

Push down on fret 1 and 19 then check the distance of the top of 8th fret to the bottom of the string? Is that right?
