I lined up some duncan designes humbuckers with the stock ones. They do seem to be closer to the trembucker but slightly off possibly able to fit? The regular spaced covered duncan designed is definately not the same as the 498t but it looks like the regular spaed pickup lines up better than a trembucker?? The Gibson 490R neck is different than both duncan designed and the 498t. Do people think it is not worth the trouble? Is the 490t a good pickup or should I sacrifice the look for my precious c5??????????? LOLO

Klink you might want to try a Burstbucker as someone suggested. There are 2 or 3 grades of hotness I think. At least that way you'd be able to stick with the satin covers. I was under the impression that neck or bridge Duncan covers won't fit either neck or bridge Gibson pickups and vice versa. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Gibsons treble spaced (bridge humbuckers) are something like 52.7MM and Duncan regular are like 52mm and trembucker 54mm or something like that so none are the same exactly.
