Can a Seymour Duncan Pickup Booster Pedal Fry a Pickup?

Worse case scenario, the input of the Booster gets overloaded and shorts the input transistor to 9-volt. 9 volts going out of the input jack into a typical Strat single-coil, (6k), would still only draw a hair more than a milliamp. 43 AWG wire can easily handle a hundred times that. Like others have said, gotta be coincidence.

The signal flow SHOULD be from the mic to the PA. Yet we have all got zapped on the mouth at some point.

I've also had a few specimens over the years - just wound super tight and snap from pressure I guess, no impact of any kind or other ( I had an Entwhistle Stack do that) They sent me a replacement Free of charge xcept shipping but that's cool
