It's one of the late 70's Studios by the looks of things

Nearly bought one but the fact that it had mangled frets (yes ... Mangled ... as in chunks missing and visibly bent) and the fact that they were asking for close to $500 for it (are they on crack I wouldn't pay that much for a s/h Ibanez in good condition)

I said stuff it.

But it's probably my favorite shape of any electric guitar ... the neck profile wasn't half bad either

Looks like a cool guitar.

My friend had an old Ibanez that he stripped down. I think it was a
Musician or something.

Mahogany neck-thru. Someone had painted it metallic red but he stripped it and gave it a nice natural transparent finish. Looked great and sounded really big.
