Those are the 'Marvel' locks sold by GFS, and my experience is essentially the same as yours. Dunlops exclusively for me.

I looked at those on GFS
They seem like Dunlop style thingys
I notice the $13 price as well

The Dunlop ones are around $15 everywhere I get them
Then the WD version of "just the pins" is $5

The GFS version may be fine
But there are no aftermarket clone parts of aftermarket clone parts

If you decide to stay with those
Just get several more sets
And throw the spare thingys in a box
Shove that box under the bed and forget about it

They look like Dunlops, but they work like Schallers regarding having a cup that fits around the strap button. I'm not a big fan of the Schallers to begin with, and the Marvel locks didn't work as well.

Has anyone tried the ernie ball strap locks? They look pretty interesting.
