I'm poor but I need a bigger amp, would this work?

That's a speaker bottem. You'll need an amp head.

It's a compact 4x12 box, perfect for use as a single or stacked under the GLX1200 head.

I assume that means that I don't NEED a head.

What that statement means is that you can use that bottom or two bottoms stacked under the head. You can plug your guitar directly into a speaker cabnet but you'll have to use your imagination to hear anything.

Yep. Sad but true.

You need an amplifier head to plug your guitar into and then you'd plug the speaker bottem into the speaker output of the amp head.

I'm pretty sure that's how the pros like Robert S. do it.

check your fender, see if there's a jack that says "ext. speaker" or ''speaker out'' or something like that. then you could use your fender as a head and run another cabinet like that
