Can I put straplocks on an ibanez artcore??

I have some dunlop straplocks

and the only reason I ask is because the dunlop screws are way long and Im afraid if I screw in all the way

it'll go through and well reach the chamber of the guitar haha

am i paranoid?

Another question is what kind of straplocks would you recommend for a guitar that has the strap knobs on hte back and on the bottom of the guitar.. like an gibson sg would.


i decided to try dunlop..i used to have schallers on my fender and they were great but theyre pointy and i figure having that on the back of the guitar while pointed towards my hip.. wouldnt be fun

any recommendations would be great..thanks

Try using the original screws.

they dont work..not long enough..to go inside the strap lock..so that the other strap lock side fits in

Make a trip to the local hardware store to find adequate screws.

I put Schallers on my Dot Studio.

Worst case scenario is just using toothpicks and wood glue to fill in the hole.
