Hi
I just recently purchased a fender p bass, the electronics in it are bad, so i went out and bought all new pots, 1/4" jack, wire, and a set of ducan/basslines SPB-3. When i installed them and all of the other new parts, it had a nasty high pitch hum. So I checked all of my grounds and they are good. Next I bypassed the pots and run the pickups direct and i still have the hum, can someone tell me what I can do or maybe tell me a different set of pickups. Oh and I have no Florecenet (spelling) lights, tv/monitors, and/or speakers around the pickups while testing. Thanks for reading and trying to help me. any advice will be appreciated.
