Can someone ID the pickups in this shred machine

I purchased this guitar in a trade for an Ibanez RG series, I think I came out on top cause it squeals like a monster!

I know the bridge pickup is a Duncan Performer, don't know much about it and the Humbucker, can someone offer up a bit of info? This guitar came stock with EMGs in 1989

They're Buck Shots and Scorchers, I should punch myself int he D**k, that was too easy to lookup.... I'm an idiot.

Re: Can someone ID the pickups in this shred machine

That looks like a screamin' demon in the bridge and the Duncan designed/Duncan performer version of the hot rails in the neck. Dunno what buckshots and scorchers is supposed to mean.

Re: Can someone ID the pickups in this shred machine

The bridge looks like a Screamin Demon and the neck could be either a cool rails or hot rails.

Re: Can someone ID the pickups in this shred machine

Hot Rails for some reason are also called scorchers sometimes, or maybe they are not. From what I read about the Hot Rails there is a few different names that go along with them as with the Screamin Demon etc.
Maybe someone can elaborate on that.

"Scorchers" are an even hotter version of our Hot Rails pickup, just found this on the SD site. No additional information though :S

Re: Can someone ID the pickups in this shred machine

What info do you need? It's a ceramic magnet. Hook up a multimeter and you can find out its DC resistance. Beyond that I'm not sure what other useful information you could gather short of setting up a testing rig to find out resonant peak or inductance or what have you.

Re: Can someone ID the pickups in this shred machine

scorchers are a Duncan designed version of the hot rails that's even hotter and made over seas

Re: Can someone ID the pickups in this shred machine

It's an OEM pickup. You can also buy the Performer series at Guitar Center or used on ebay.
