I don't have that guitar...but I do know that Pickguard Heaven is the maker of O.E.M. G&L pickguards, so they already have a template for anything G&L. http://pickguards.us/pricegandl.html
If you need help in anyway let me know. Pr hence guitars in hervey bay can cut guards and design them.
Ah; understood. I agree that the G&L guards are nice.
If you can't find what you're looking for shortly, lemme know. I have a friend who is a final assembly builder at G&L, and I'm sure he could trace a guard for you, if not simply get you one.
Thanks mate. I'm actually wanting to mod some new tele guards for a few few projects and want to replicate
the soft upper end of the guard towards the bridge. I want these projects to look a little different.
The G&L holes in the area concerned would be hidden should ever a trad Tele guard be applied. What allowance are you making for the attachment screw positions? The Fender and G&L 'plate holes do not line up.
Wonka? You're right, He is a Willy
Wonka?
Carefull Raph, or I'll set the Umpalumpas (Crusty, PJ and GV) onto you!
No rush mate.FYI, I shot my friend a "text" about tracing a guard. He said he'll be able to do it. How soon do you need the tracing?
G'day folks,
Can someone trace me a G&L Assat Classic Tele pickguard please.
Either mail it to me in Australia or possibly fax it, whatever is easier.
Let me know what you want in return.:notworthy
Cheers, Will
Wow, thanks mate!I ordered guards from Terrapin with great fit. Here is their PDF of an ASAT Classic which you can scale through a printer in 1 to 1 scale.
