Can you recognize this tone ? These guys tone

Re: Can you recognize this tone ? These guys tone

It looks like a 90's white chassis XTC like mine. They can be dialed in for a Marshall tone, but with the Structure switch on, it gets a tighter modern sound like an Uberschall or Recto. That's how his is set.

Truthfully, the Bogner Red and Uber pedals are so good, you can run them into any clean tube amp and get nearly the same tone. If you can afford it, find a used Uberschall and you'll get a tone that sounds like their blend of Recto and XTC.
I like how you can hear the two amps separately....2:15 is the Recto, and the XTC comes in at 2:18.

Hey thanks for your comment !
In fact at 2:18, it is the mesa guy playing (Uruha),while the XTC guy ( Aoi ) starts to play with his acoustic guitar, you can hear it while Uruha is playing with distorted sound.

Although they did a new version of Taion available here : http:// https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Qc0pM5o5Mwg

These two guitarists got their own sound and i think that they mix up very good together.

i am wondering about getting a dual recto or a bogner to get Aoi or Uruha tone but i am also wondering about why not buying a Kemper..
Kemper seems very accurate in tone term but it seems that it misses some low end although in kemper mesa profile vs real mesa blind test it is very difficult to me to hear a difference, it seems that there is almost no differences to me.

Do you have a opinion about that ? i feel lost..
a real amp or a kemper ? .. I don't know

Thanks for your help.

Re: Can you recognize this tone ? These guys tone

My question to you is, are you trying to emulate this sound on a recording? That's doable. Or are you intending to get this exact sound live or just from your amp for playing on your own? The sound of the amp in the room, even captured professionally will be a bit different from what ends up on tape, mostly because to capture it exactly as it is in the room wouldn't blend too well with the other instruments but the general character will still be there if that's what you're after.

I think a trip to the music store is in order.

I would like to get the same exact tone for my own purpose i mean just from my amp playing my own

But i am not totally a beginner, i am well aware that i would never get the same exact tone as they usually use engineer in mastering and these kind of sound improvement stuff in studio, though if i can get their live tone or something not too far of it i would be very happy.

i have posted a guitar cover of Taion where the guy is using a Koch amp and a forest guitar and i was like "this guy got really the tone i am looking for " he sounded like Aoi.

If i can get Aoi or Uruha kind of tone i would be satisfied..

i am just wondering about getting a amp + cab or just the kemper with cab..

Re: Can you recognize this tone ? These guys tone

How often are you going to be playing live?

If most of your playing is done at low volumes not on stage the Kemper will do well enough.

Listening to clips of sound on the net is a waste of time. If you will be playing live pretty often, the Bogner will chew up and spit out the modeler. If you want to sound like them use what they use, not an imitation of what they use. Another thing to think about is how long is a computer good for, physically how long do they last? 20+ years is not at all uncommon for a tube amp. If you want the Bogner to sound like something else, pedal it on the clean channel.

If you are playing live you could just get both, I never gigged without a backup amp.

I am going to play 99 % of my time in my room with a reasonable volume.

Well guys i just sold the Rockett Archer and i buy'd the last Bogner Ecstasy Red pedal overdrive of the shop and i feel really happy of my buy ;
