???
I really am hearing some things about this duncan and wondered if it can be used on a LP?
I need a paf type with more output and that has a smoother top end on the high strings?

is the blues a good pup for a bigger hotter paf tone?
i love the classic paf tone but need a bit more juice for the metal stuff if needed.
i want to go from led zep and ac/dc to slayer and zakk :laugh2:

Find the pup that has the detail, clarity and feeling that you like. It will probably be a lower output pup like the paf you mentioned. Then get the SD Pickup booster or other clean boost like a Barber Launchpad. You'll have the high gain you're looking for without sacrificing dynamics AND you'll have more sustain due to less string pull.
