Canare guitar cables....any good?

P.S If there is a better cable in your opinion that`s at a comparable price to Canare let me know.

You will be hard pressed to find a better quality cable than Mogami or Canare.

I would use GS6 for instrument cable.

+2 on the GS6, although I've used them for patch cables. They're really good cables.

Canare are dark sounding cables, but they're good value for the money. I'd recommend Planet Waves over them, they're more exciting. They have less bass, more highs and midrange, but for guitar they really punch.

Never realized how a good quality cable can improve the sound but it sure does!

GS-6 is good cable - it's what I started my business with. Bit high in capacitance and somewhat dark sounding though...

Cables from similar type manufacturers that are as good or better at about the same price:

Mogami 2524
Gotham Ultra Pro
Van Damme Classic Intsrument
Gepco (XB20UB or GLC20)

Just got my Canare GS-6 cable and I'm very impressed! Definitely the nicest cable I've had. I also picked up a Belden cable as well which I also like very much. Never thought I'd ever get into guitar cables! LOL

The canare seems fatter sounding (but clear), and lays better sound stage wise.. perfect for guitar playing..

One of the BEST values in a cable, believe it or not, is the 18'6" Rapco Road Hog cables that Guitar Center sells for cheap. That really is a well-made, good sounding cable. I'd take one of those over Monster any day.

But the Canare and Mogami cables are very, very good.
