So im adding a jazz pickup to my p bass and was wondering if anyone has any idea how to wire a master volume on top of the normal jazz bass 2 vol 1 tone wiring? I normally use cts 250th pots by the way, cheers

I think this is what you're looking for, as a master volume in addition to separate volumes is kind of redundant.

I'd use a stacked pot for the master vol/tone knob, and then the blend. Should work just fine.

I second Monkey's suggestion of a master volume and blend instead of three volume knobs.

Cheers, the reason I didn't really want a blend pot is that with the two volumes I find it a little more precise for dialling in my pickups, I mean you guys probably know best so where should I get the blend pot from in that case ? :) cheers

If you imagine the master volume turned all the way up, and break the blend into two pots, the schematic looks like this:

Cheers man I'm gonna use that on my jazz bass but I was wondering if you have any idea how to do the original idea for a project bass? It's my frankenstein:)
