Caps. Effect on full volume?

I don't mess around with changing caps as much as I see a lot
of people doing.

When the volume and tone are on 10, how much effect do caps across the volume or tone have?

What capacitors do you recommend the highest for
Les Pauls and Strats? Assuming you want the same tone rolled back as you have wide open? Last time I tried changing them, my rolled back volume had more treble than I wanted. I want it unison with full up.

hmm.......i don't know about les pauls......but i believe you can wire a strat to that way.....i forgot how to do it....but if i find the site i 'll post it here.....that's strange though...cause usually when you roll down the volume you lose high end...
