Winning is not an option as mine is not a real Gibson les paul, bur here she is a ESP LTD EC-256 aged honey burst.

Well i get home the 17th late at night, so i dont think ill be posting a nice picture.

But its not like a plain Jane Lester could win

Can't win if you don't play….

Re: Category #5 Submissions - ANY Les Paul

We do love some plain top action around here...

A lot of beautiful Lesters! Super jealous and full of GAS!

Although there's a certain one conspicuously absent...

Re: Category #5 Submissions - ANY Les Paul

The Burny is my Submission, but Id like to throw this out there as a VERY Honorable mention. These don't get much mention are credit round here, but this is a DA#N good guitar, at a first guitar price..

Re: Category #5 Submissions - ANY Les Paul

Something about the sight of a les pauls gets my juices flowing. Tonewise, i'm more of a strat guy. When i see NGD's of people with les paul's, though, i just get excited.

2013 Mat Heafy Les Paul. Factory 2nd. Has a small crack at the bass of the neck, but otherwise fine. I've replaced the pickups with an EMG 57/66 set and the truss rod cover with a standard Les Paul Custom one.

Re: Category #5 Submissions - ANY Les Paul

Amaterasu, an '83 Guitar Trader pre-Historic, is the best of the few select LPs I've kept for decades. Right up at the top of my favorites list, along with my '87 PRS and one magical old Strat.

Just under eight pounds, long tenon neck joint, very lively at volume. Not supernaturally flamed like some modern guitars, but nicely 3-D nonetheless. Had feedback trouble with the factory Shaw humbuckers onstage (back in '83 I was playing pretty loud & using a lot of gain sometimes) so I replaced 'em with a set of Duncan 59s which have remained to this day. Perfect match for this axe. Not a great photo; I'll take a better one next time I have her here.

Almost late entry, quick photo

2009 Epiphone Les Paul Standard
-Seymour Duncan 59/JB
-Rewired with Emerson 500k Pots with oil in paper caps and Gibson Knobs (Funny story with the original knobs)

I bought it new with money I had saved for over 2 years. I was originally going to buy a MIM Stratocater, but I ended up liking the look and feel of this better.
