They sound really lively from top to bottom, but may start farting out at high levels in an open back cab. It seems to very well with tones below the "fart threshold". Tuning below standard "E", and kicking it with a "dry" (mid-scooped) crunch tone, in an open back situation is hard to do for a lot of different speakers. That is my impression from a Randall 100 watt stereo 2x12.
