Depending on the musical style and amp being used, you may want to venture away from V-30 options altogether or for at least one of the setups. Front loaded vs. rear loaded also makes a difference. I myself am growing tired of the vintage 30 and greenback options in cabs.
Yeah the V30 has become so ubiquitous that the sound is kinda stale.
My favorite for a long time has been the old 80 watt celestions that came in the model 1982 marshall cabs in the 80's They now sell a 80 watt classic but not sure how they compare. For me they have the tightest lows of any that ive tried. That being said I do still have a couple cabs with V30's kicking around, well because they work. Though thinking about it neither are "traditional" cabs. 1 is a Mesa Half back that has v30's in a open compartment up top with 90 watt black shadows in the closed bottom. The other is a weirdo mesa open back cab with 1 v30 surrounded by 4 1x8's both cabs are excellent I recommend either if you dont want to venture from v30's but want something a bit different.
