Not enough gain, though.
Stevo said:OK we don't need to confuse this amp with a "high gain" amp. This amp is very articulate with purity. It has lots of headroom and it really comes to life with the master volume cranked. It is definitely one of the few amps that I have played through that really clean up when you roll off the guitar volume or back off of the force that you put on the strings.
I have played through many amps that do high gain well, and others that are very clean, but I'm impressed because this amp gets that middle ground that is great for classic rock and blues.
I am pretty sure you would like the 15 watter Jeremy. It has a sweet spot right around band volume.. considering that your drummer is not a total ape man :laugh2: The headroom is up there. You can compensate for lower volume with the master/pre setup if you want earlier breakup.jeremy said:how loud is this thing? do i even want to think about the 30w or am i going to end up with another amp thats a little too loud?
clips sounded sweet guys!!

DSSI am using a single sm57 and acid loops for drums and bass. I also have some misc drum samples that I've picked up here and there. I mess around with them until I get something I like.
On the blues clip, that's my 77 LP Standard, currently with a Seth Lover bridge pickup and a jazz neck pickup. I am only using the jazz pickup here.Scott_F said:which guitar, which pickups?
