Chandler limited little devil color boost?

Has any one tried one of these? For some reason all of the clips I have heard make me want to try one. But the $300+ price tag keeps me from getting one.

It seems way too expensive for what it is. I do own a Chandler Germanium mic preamp and can tell you the build and sound quality are exquisite. But the pedal seems a bit overpriced...
