Changed pickups in my PRS SE Standard 24

I took out the Air Zone/PAF Classic pickups and put in a Crunch Lab in the bridge and a Sentient in the neck. Love the Crunch Lab, but still not sure about the Sentient. If I don't bond with it I'll get either a Jazz, 59 or maybe a PAF Master to replace it. Now I have to decide if I'll either sell the Air Zone and PAF Classic or get another guitar to put them in.

Beautiful guitar
I like it better with the uncovered black pickups
The blue is just such a satisfying shade

The Jazz is my favorite pickup

I have a JB and Jazz in four guitars now

I think a Jazz would be my first choice if the Sentient doesn't work out.

What is the issue you have with the Sentient? Not enough power? Too bright/dark?

How was the Air Zone in that guitar? Could you please describe your experiences? I hear many many different opinions about it and am always curious about it. Kinda thought about putting the Air zone in the neck position of a solidbody electric and use it as a jazz guitar.

I swapped out more pickups in my PRS Custom 22 than I can count. I keep coming back to the JB/Jazz or JB/59 combo. I like the 59 better in my PRS than the Jazz. The Jazz is a bit lighter and spritzier and sounds better in my Les Pauls.

Maybe a little too dark? I'm not sure yet and I haven't given up on it. I'm going to keep trying it for a while.

Never tried the Air Zone in the neck, but in the bridge it's great. The only reason I swapped it for the Crunch Lab was I wanted something more modern sounding. The Air Zone is like a pumped up, thick PAF type tone to me. I love it in the bridge and have it in a couple other guitars.
