Stained the whole lot with black wood dye

Rubbed in a coat of oil with the rag I used to apply the dye

Tru-Oil over the whole thing too ,sanded in the second application and it's got a cool aged look to the neck, back, and sides

That's what i did on my shinobi custom. It just doesn't last like a poly or acrylic. I don't mind how it looks with a bit of wear but you you have to expect it especially over maple.

looks so badass.

well done on the design. Also I like that you went with the straight pull headstock instead of the jackson style. Looks great.

Plays very nicely polished frets feel sweet - well balanced ,comfortabe not too much of a stretch down the fretboard and sounds brutal too
