Charvel finished!

So after owning my 1989 Charvel 375 for 7 or 8 years I've slowly modified it in the last 3 years and it's now finished!
It now plays amazingly and is a great 80s shred machine!

I changed almost everything so below is a list of everything changed:

Seymour Duncan 59 bridge trembucker
Seymour Duncan Hot Rails neck pickup
500k YJM speed volume pot
500k Bournes push pull tone pot
Fender 3 way selector
Switch craft output Jack
Copper shielded control cavity
Noiseless springs
Custom big brass block
New schaller floyd Base plate
New saddles
Schaller volume/tone metal knobs
Dimarzio leather clip lock system/strap
Schaller tuners
Schaller nut
Custom engraved truss rod cover
All parts tremolo cavity cover with access plate
Stainless steel frets- Jescar FW57110
Unfinished neck
D'Addario NYXL 9-46

Fret/neck work and setup by PCJ Custom guitars - highly recommended!!!

As you can see there isn't much that was left stock. It's also sat in a 80s charvel tweed case that the guitar came with when I purchased it!

The original frets had a fair few dead spots and we're worn very low by previous owner so I decided to go for a re fret with larger stainless frets

A beauty, with every detail covered to make a world class gitfiddle. Tough time on the forum for me, all these awesome guitars showing up, don't know if this one or the Suhr is my favorite...maybe that aquamarine Les Paul...still need more Stratocasters though.

How are you liking it? I'm hoping to do at least 2 more, maybe 3.

Charvels are real nice playing guitars and they feel so right when you hold and play them. Nice guitar that you have there. It looks very classy.

That's in very nice condition, and it turned out great. It's so much better than stock, so I'm sure that you are very pleased with the results. Thanks for sharing this with us.

I love the large SS frets. Any refret I get will have them. But that is a cool looking guitar. Almost looks too classy with that flamed maple to be a shred machine. Can we hear it?

Great guitar! My first truly good guitar was a Charvel 375. I loved the stock J90C at the bridge, although the J100 singles were a bit weak and not hum-cancelling, so I would have replaced those with Cool Rails if I had the money to hang on to it. Back then, I had little income, so I relied on trades to get my next guitar/amp, etc.

My Carvin DC400 has stainless steel frets. They definitely add a bit of brightness to your tone, and feel awesome! I see myself using SS for any future refrets of my guitars.
