Cheap 12" speakers that sound Fendery

Re: Cheap 12" speakers that sound Fendery

My favorite amps are 4x10-- lots of bass, but plenty bright.

Trying to capture as similar a sound as possible with a single 12 is difficult.

find some clips of The Tonker from Eminence, it sounded pretty good to me..

I just put a tonker into the cab for my Randall head. It is thick, full, and brittish. Not very Fendery, at least with my setup.

Spent some more time with the pair of Jensen's, swapped an Eminence back in temporarily:

Tried the Carvin out while sitting in with a funk band the other night. Took me the entire night to dial in the EQ to my liking (settled on everything dimed except treble, which was on 2 or 3) volume never went over 2.

I am the guitar player with short hair, sometimes a hat, and a beard. Most of the time I'm not on camera.
