I think there's only one tube amp for $100-- Epiphone Valve Junior Head. You'll need a cab.

+1, Just don´t get me started on my opinion of it. "Good For the Money" does not = Good IMO

IMO the best tube amp for 100$ is a broken Marshall that will need 400$ worth of repairs as well as a speaker cabinet. I´m dead serious.

If you want it for ANYTHING other than bedroom /headphone practice, save up a bit more

True but compared to the alternatives at $100 its good. Like you say save up for something better as this will save money in the long run.

IMO you're going to need $350-400 minimum to pick up a decent tube amp. I just got a Peavey Classic 50 head for $350 and I REALLY like it.
